What is an Around the Clock Shower, you might ask?
An around the clock bridalshower is designed around giving the couple or bride gifts for all 24 hours of the day. Each guest is assigned a time of day and asked to bring a gift that can be used at that time. It’s an entertaining way for guest to select gifts for the happy couple however, we added our own twist in centered the theme around just the bride.
The best thing about having an Around the Clock Bridal Shower theme is the guest get to get creative with their gifts. The most memorable gifts are those that are given with a lot of thought. They are at their best when the personality and interests of the bride are really taken into account.
I had the honor of hosting this bridal shower for one of my best friends Kendra. She only had two request for her bridal shower; a mimosa bar and heart shaped sandwiches.

The decorations were very subtle, simple, classy and fun. We printed clocks from the internet that went perfect with our theme. The clubhouse itself was already decorated really nice so we didn’t need to add much for our vision to come to light. Once we placed the clocks down throughout the room, we moved on to add some pink, white ,and gold balloons from Party City around the room. Lastly, we added about 4 flower vases full with hydrangea, roses and wild flowers from Trader Joe’s .
We went with heavy appetizers & finger foods! Chicken Salad, Meatballs, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Pasta Salad, Chips/Crackers, Heart-Shaped Turkey & Ham Sandwiches, Vegetable Salad Cups, and Fruit Kabobs.
Cupcakes, Chocolate Dip Rice Krispie Treats, Candy apples and Strawberries.
This type of bridal shower was designed so that the bride would get a variety of lingerie, house items and much more. We assigned each guest with mostly afternoon & late night hours such as 5:00 pm, midnight and so on…

By the time she opened the last of her presents, Kendra was blushing & embarrassed!
The Around the Clock Bridal Shower was really fun to throw and it was a great alternative for a Bridal Shower if you don’t want to have a lingerie only Bridal Shower!
It was a lovely day celebrating my dearest friend who is getting married in less than 20 days!
